Baked Pears

Ingredients:

Pears

For the filling:

1/2 cup quick cooking oats

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon cinnamon

2 tablespoons butter, melted

2 tablespoons slivered almonds

Optional: cut down brown sugar and drizzle maple syrup on top before baking

Method:

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cut pears in half and scoop out a little to make space for filling. In a small bowl, melt butter, and add all other filling ingredients. Push into pear halves, and bake for 35-40 minutes, depending on the size of pears. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
