Ingredients:

2/3 cup pumpkin puree

1/4 cup peanut butter

2 eggs

3 cups whole wheat flour

Method:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prep a cookie sheet with a silicone mat or foil. If using foil, spray lightly with oil to prevent sticking.

In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree and peanut butter. Add two eggs and mix till combined. Add 3 cups whole wheat flour and bring together in bowl with hands. Sprinkle work space with extra flour and knead dough till mixed thoroughly. With rolling pin. roll out to 1/4 inch thickness. Using a cookie cutter (bone, doghouse, fire extinguisher shape) stamp out treats and place on cookie sheet. If not using cookie cutters, cut into triangles or squares. Pierce fork into each treat.

Bake for 20 minutes on middle rack in oven. Do as many batches as dough allows. Cool and keep in sealed Ziplock or airtight container.
